Tonale

DOORSTEP SKIING 1860-3069M
Tonale is on the high pass between the regions of Trentino and Lombardy, where the Sole Valley joins the Camonica Valley. The Val di Sole rises from 900m at the bottom of the Marilleva lifts to 3069m at the top of the Presena Glacier. There are 80km of piste locally, 45km of artifical snow making facilities. An area pass with 103 lifts is available embracing the resorts of Pejo, Folgarida, Marilleva, Madonna di Compiglio, Ponte di Legno and Tonale. This is the Brenta Dolomites at their best. With a modern lift system that serves all abilities and special moving matt style chairs make it so easy for beginners. from the top of the Presena Glacier you can ski approximately 12km through the wooded lower slopes to Ponte di Legno, and return by coach.

APRES SKI
There are plenty of bars, shops, disco's, games areas, a supermarket, bank and post office. Especially recommended is the Disco/pub Anares with its fabulous interior and wonderful pizzias. Ponte di Legno is an old Italian village with lovely shops, ice rink and swimming pool and is well worth a visit.
