GRESSONEY
Situated in the Aosta Valley the resort of
Gressoney was recently described as “ Italy’s hidden gem” due to the extensive
variety of skiing, stunning scenery and excellent snow record. With skiing
covering the nearby valleys of Alagna and Champolux there is in excess of 200km
of varied piste to suit all standards of skier and including the superb off
piste areas around Alagna. With an altitude of over 3300 metres and a village
height of 1800 metres, the resort is ensured a long season.
HOTEL MONBOSO- this superb 4 star hotel is
situated in Stafal, the highest of the 3 hamlets, and less than 200 metres from
the lifts and ski runs. Accommodation is of an extremely high standard with
large, tastefully decorated rooms all with full facilities and a variety of
entertainments put on each evening within the hotel. There is also a choice of
bar/ lounge areas, a cinema room and games area. Food is of an extremely high
